SAMSUNG ANNOUNCES THE TOUCHWIZ F-480


Samsung officially announced their newest touchscreen phone - the Samsung F480 or known as Samsung TouchWiz. We know that it was announced in Barcelona back in February but there is some news in this second announcement too. Samsung TouchWiz will definitely add more competition to the touch screen smartphone market that has so far been dominated by the iPhone worldwide.The TouchWiz is based upon Samsung’s Croix interface and is to be used on all further touch-phones from Samsung. The Samsung F480 is a pretty slick device, featuring the new TouchWiz User Interface, a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash plus a secondary video calling camera, power LED flash, image and video stabilization, widgets that can be added and dragged about on the home screen, and input feedback via vibration.
This is a 3.5G phone with a 2.8″ 320 x 240 pixel touchscreen. The F480 has microSD expandable memory (up to 8GB), an FM radio, a comprehensive multimedia player and USB 2.0 and Bluetooth 2.0. However, unfortunately the F480 doesn’t have WiFi or GPS support.
Samsung also revealed the details about the battery of the handset - 1000 mAh of capacity, 3 hours of talk time and 300 hours of stand-by time. The dimensions have also been slightly updated to 98.4 x 55 x 11.6 mm and the weight has been fixed at 100.6 grams. It is tri-band phone with HSDPA 7.2Mbps support.
Besides, there is audio and video player with multiple file format support, as well as FM Radio with RDS. The impressive TouchWiz user interface and navigation are the final ingredients for making the classy performer.

OMNIA, meaning ‘everything’ in Latin and ‘wish’ in Arabic, goes beyond the current top-of-the-line features available in today’s mobile phones

Users can also send and receive email and manage their appointments in Outlook while on the go. The Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional operating system means users can download additional programs as they would on their PC and customize it for their individual needs.
The Samsung Omnia comes with a large 3.2″ 240 x 400 pixel touchscreen display with hap tic feedback. Samsung OMNIA also comes with a five-megapixel CMOS camera with the latest value-added features, which include auto-focus (AF), face and smile detection and auto-panorama shot.
The phone features GPS, FM radio, Bluetooth 2.0 and Wi-Fi. For storing music, the Samsung Omnia comes with 8 gig or 16 gigs internal memory.
Samsung’s patented TouchWiz user interface makes entering data and text simple. With unique widgets, users can customise and personalise the way they use their phone. It also facilitates easy and convenient calling and texting with a dedicated dome key for controlling communications.
the Samsung Omnia’s multimedia player supports MP3, AAC and WMA audio types, also MPEG4, DivX, H.263, H.264 and WMV movies plus many other types of multimedia file.

SAMSUNG PRESENTS












Samsung Electronics has launched the SGH-P310, successor to the SGH-P300, also known as the 'Card Phone'. The newly launched P310 comes with a newly designed exterior and revamped features.The P310 has a slim and wide form factor and measures 8.5mm in thickness. The phone resembles a credit card and features a 2 megapixel camera, music player and video player, has 80 MB embedded memory and an external memory slot. It also offers Bluetooth connectivity has a large 1.9" 262K QVGA color screen and features a new touch sensor soft key. An included case provides extended battery life to power the P310.Kitae Lee, president of the Telecommunication Network Business at Samsung Electronics, said "Samsung's new Card Phone II is loaded with the latest multimedia features with a unique iconic design. Its mini compact size with essential multimedia features meets our highest standard of quality." He adds, "Samsung mobiles have come a long way in mobile design and technology. We will strive to deliver the right balance of cutting-edge technology and superiorly designed mobiles to the market," added Kitae Lee.The SGH-P310 will be launched to the European market in late September, followed by the Southeast Asian market in October
